Georgia Trial Attorneys Benefits

  • Health, Life & Disability Insurance: full-time employees are eligible for coverage under a group health, life, and disability insurance program after ninety (90) days of employment. Coverage up to a “silver” level plan will be funded 100% by the firm. Any additional coverage can be purchased at the election of the employee.
  • Dental Insurance: full-time employees are eligible to purchase coverage under a group dental insurance program after ninety (90) days of employment.
  • Qualified 401(k) Plan: full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Plan after twelve (12) months of employment.
  • Holidays & Paid Time Off: full-time employees receive paid federal holidays and ten (10) days of paid time off to be used every twelve (12) months, to renew on each employee’s anniversary.

Case Manager >

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of personal injury cases. The candidate will be detail-oriented and able to remain organized in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a self-starter who can operate independently and meet deadlines efficiently and effectively while giving our clients the best possible service. With the nature of our office, it is important that we be able to rely on our managers to accomplish their tasks independently and without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Must have great people skills, as the position requires a great deal of client contact
  • Builds and supports relationships with medical providers
  • Be able to order medical records and itemized billing from medical facilities
  • Drafts pleadings and documents necessary for the progress of the case
  • Filing documents with the court
  • Recommending withdrawal from cases with unresponsive or uncooperative clients
  • Prepare demand files to be sent once complete
  • Identify health insurance issues and address as early in the case as possible
  • Gather, analyze, and research information and documents and manage a high-volume case load
  • Proficient with the intake of case details including police reports, incident reports, policy limits, injuries, treatment, and completing demand letters
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' work experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal or relevant experience– a paralegal certificate is helpful but not required   
  • Proven working experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal  
  • Understand concepts of policy limits, injuries, pre-existing condition, pre-litigation, litigation, demand letters, offers, settlements, liability, property damage, medical bills, medical records  
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.  
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) helpful but not required   
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with outstanding time management ability
  • Strong written and communication skills along with attention to detail 

Litigation Paralegal >

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. This person should be a self-starter with the ability to manage the day-to-day operations of their assigned cases. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage client cases for two attorneys
  • Conduct claim investigation, legal research, case assessments 
  • Draft pleadings and motions and file them with the court 
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices 
  • Assist attorney with interrogatories and other requests 
  • Assist with trial and witness preparation  
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery, assist in completing discovery 
  • Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to talk about case details 
  • Track medical treatment and order medical records 
  • Obtain necessary documentation from the client and other relevant items as needed 
  • Gathering and analyzing statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents
  • Correspond regularly with opposing parties, medical providers, and insurance companies 
  • Aid with case settlements, including relaying offers and demands 
  • Conduct daily case reviews, and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the case manager  
  • Direct and delegate relevant duties to legal assistants 
  • Various other duties as assigned

Sales Manager >

We are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Representative who can nurture their current, and build new, Personal Injury Attorney relationships in Atlanta and throughout Georgia. This role requires strong networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of people within the practice. The Sales Manager will manage and expand our current client base and use their expertise to build long-term client relationships. 

Responsibilities 

  • Speaking with potential clients via phone to gather initial case information
  • Serving as “on call” to respond to initial inquiries from perspective clients
  • Working with the managing attorney to determine viability of potential cases
  • Keep track of potential cases and scheduling follow up calls
  • Create business relationships of trust and value with key decision makers with new and existing clients
  • Confidently sell our end-to-end servicing of personal injury cases
  • Able to understand the needs of different clients and create customized solutions that fit their needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong background in performance-based metrics
  • 2-3 years of customer service and sales experience
  • Ability to type 50 wpm while speaking with clients
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to be empathetic yet persuasive 
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish Preferred
